Innovative Manufacturing Source (IMS) is a full service Electronic Contract Manufacturer. Our capabilities consist of printed circuit board assembly, cable assembly, mechanical and final assembly and test capabilities. The personnel at IMS bring many years of manufacturing experience to you and your project. IMS is located in a newly renovated building in the South East Industrial park in Calgary, Alberta with 17,000 square feet of climate controlled manufacturing space. We have invested in state-of-the-art equipment to enable us to provide you with the quality and service you deserve.
We specialize in low to medium volume builds, quick turn board assembly and prototype builds in both Surface Mount and Thru-hole configurations. Innovative Manufacturing Source is a full service manufacturer for consignment builds but will also provide procurement services where suitable. We have testing and final assembly capability as well as design services where required. Strategic alliances with sheet metal fabrication, machining, injection molding and custom cabling manufacturers allow us to fulfill all of your manufacturing needs. We can supply all or any part of your product requirements!
Our Materials Management team have years of experience in purchasing and managing electronics materials. Our experience, supplier relationships and combined volume advantage often make the full procurement option very attractive. When the amount of cash and space consumed by inventory and the time required to purchase, kit and manage inventory is considered, the full procurement option becomes a very viable option.
